Guylberson Camile (Key West, Fla./Key West) delivered the go-ahead goal in the 81st minute, helping the Carl Sandburg College men’s soccer team stay unbeaten with a 3-2 victory over South Suburban on Tuesday afternoon at Kleine Field.

The Chargers improved to 4-0 with the win as Camile and Rhys Holt (Flintshire, Wales/Hawarden, Deeside Town) connected for all three of Sandburg’s goals.

Camile’s game-winner came less than 2 minutes after the Bulldogs (3-2-1) had tied the game at 2 with a pair of rebound goals in a 9-minute span. In the 81st minute, Holt led a pass to Camile, who was making a run to the near post. Camile put a move on a South Suburban defender and sent a shot inside the far post to give the Chargers a 3-2 lead.

Holt scored the game’s first goal in the 42nd minute as Camile made a run down the left side and sent a centering pass into the box, where Holt put it away on the far post. The Chargers took a 2-0 lead into halftime when, after a restart, Holt’s long cross into the box found Camile, who put it away on the far side with just seconds left in the half.

Iker Sanchez (Miami, Fla./Immaculata LaSalle) make six saves in goal for Sandburg, which is one of just three unbeaten teams in Region IV. The Chargers close the regular season at 4 p.m. Monday on the road against Triton, which is also unbeaten.
